End of Course exams will start Friday, January 17. Students will be exempt from non-End of Course (EOC) exams if they meet the following criteria:

Academic Grade of A / 4 Absences or less

Academic Grade of B / 3 Absences or less

Academic Grade of C / 2 Absences or less

Students in an EOC Class OR Career-Technical Education (CTE) Class that has a state exam, must take their final exam regardless. Waived absences - meaning those students that have submitted absences with documentation through our ACRHS Waived Days Committee - will not count as class absences (e.g. funerals, surgeries).

Any absences not waived will have to be made up through make up attendance. Even if a student makes up absences, the missed days still count as absences towards the exam exemption policy.

If your student is taking an exam but you would like for them to be able to leave after each day's exam, you must fill out this sheet for each exam review afternoon. However, I highly encourage that those students taking exams remain for the long afternoon review session to help them better prepare for the next day.
