The Buncombe County School Board approved school uniforms for Koontz
Intermediate. This was done with the understanding that being a pilot program
for two years (2015-16, 2016-17), this will provide the school time to adjust
to the needs of the school.
1. Why uniforms?

students can focus on academics, leadership opportunities, preparation for middle school and beyond.

We will first check in The Rams’ Rack to see if we
have some clothing available for the student to wear that day. If not, we will have the student call home
for the article of clothing needed.
