PTO and Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions
Koontz Intermediate School
Executive Committee, Committee Chairs of events and projects, and
volunteer school staff and administrators make up the PTO Board of
Directors. A PTO nominating committee recruits the executive committee,
which is voted on by the PTO membership. Job descriptions are
available, if you are interested in being on the executive committee
next year. Committee chairs coordinate their specific project/event and
are recruited by the PTO president.
PTO board meets once a month during the school year at a time agreed
upon by that year’s executive committee. The Board administers the PTO
finances and plans and oversees PTO goals, projects and events. ALL
parents are welcome at any monthly meetings although only the Executive
Committee and Committee Chairs are allowed to vote.
