Each fall, C.T. Koontz families are asked to join the PTO. Parent participation is a big part of what will make Koontz a great school, and your contributions help us pay for crucial enrichment activities, events and improvements that benefits all students.

Click to download the PTO Membership Form. Completed membership forms may be dropped off at the school office, mailed or sent in to the teacher with your child.

Annual PTO membership costs only $5 per person. We are hoping to have 100% participation from parents and teachers this year.

What is the PTO?
The Koontz Parent Teacher Organization is a non-profit organization that supports Koontz Intermediate students. We use the funds to pay for and organize school programs and events, as well as purchase needed items for the school. Here are some of the things we support:
  • Cultural Arts Programs
  • Visiting Authors and Assemblies
  • Community Events
  • Family Fun Nights
  • Field Trip supplements
  • Music Programs and School Plays
  • School Garden
  • Heritage Night Event
  • Movie Night
  • and more!

Thanks to your help, donations and support last year, the PTO purchased supplies, materials for Koontz Intermediate including a new addition to our sound system, classroom and educational computer software programs!

PTO Volunteering Opportunities

It takes many volunteers to make events happen for our school. If you would like to be involved with a specific committee see the list below. Email the appropriate contact person about helping. If you would like to be on our general volunteer list email PTO and let us know you would like to be a "general volunteer". All volunteers can click here for a volunteer form.

No Fuss Fundraisers

The No Fuss Fundraiser will be our major fundraiser this year at C.T. Koontz PTO. No-Fuss Fundraiser will eliminate our traditional fundraisers such as selling gift wrapping or candy. However, we still need to raise funds to support our programs and enhance educational resources at our school.

This fundraiser will run starting August 25th through the end of this school year. With this type of fundraiser 100% of the donations will go directly to the PTO to help support many of our programs. Checks should be made payable to C.T. Koontz PTO and returned to school with the form below. All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged in a letter or email from the PTA for income tax purposes (if requested). If you have any questions, please contact .
